Class 2 Refuse Driver | New Passes Welcome | Stockport | £16.35ph
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard working Class 2 driver to join our clients waste and recycling team. You will be driving a bin lorry (refuse collection vehicle) as a part of a crew, collection household or commercial waste and recycling from the local area. This is a hands-on role where teamwork, safety and good customer service are key.
* Location: Bredbury, Stockport
* Pay: £16.35 + HP
* Hours: 06:30am starts - Monday to Friday (paid for minimum 7.6hrs)
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
* Drive assigned routes and complete waste and recycling collections
* Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues
* Work closely with loaders to ensure efficient and safe operations
* When required, engage with members of the public in a professional manner
Please note this role does involves manual handling and you will be required to help the loaders load the bins onto the vehicle.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 licence
* CPC and Tachograph card
* Fitness, health and mobility
* Able to work in all weather conditions
* No more than 6 points on licence
* Available to start asap.
