Night EngineerLocal to Peterborough, Spalding, Bourne, Corby Up to £55,000A permanent night shift role on a site that's expanding, investing, and strengthening its engineering function year on year.We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a growing manufacturing site that's investing heavily in new machinery, new lines, and site expansion. This is a permanent night shift role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working on modern equipment.You'll be confident electrically and mechanically, comfortable fault-finding under pressure, and proactive in keeping the site running safely and efficiently.What's On Offer

The Role As part of the on-site engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of Food Manufacturing equipment, covering:
* Breakdown response and fault finding
* Planned and preventative maintenance
* Machine servicing and improvement projects
* Installation and commissioning of new equipment
You'll work both independently and alongside others, liaising closely with production to minimise downtime.Key Responsibilities
* Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance in line with the PPM schedule
* Diagnose faults and complete effective breakdown repairs
* Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and lines
* Liaise with production teams to reduce downtime and support on improvement projects
* Supervise and support external contractors on site
What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
* History within Food/Manufacturing/FMCG industries.
