In this role, the successful Production Welder will be responsible for the welding of required components to customer specification from technical drawings. You will work with a variety of metals, most predominantly, sheet metal. In addition, you will also be responsible for operating both power and hand tools to complete welding tasks. On top of this, you will be responsible for the conducting quality checks on finished products as and when required, ensuring they meet both company standards and are in accordance with health and safety standards. Finally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation of works/projects. The ideal Production Welder or similar will have a background working within Sheet Metal. In addition, you will also have previous practical experience in both MIG and TIG Welding. On top of this, you will have a prior knowledge/the ability to read technical drawings. Also, you will have previous experience working within a production environment. You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously, self-motivated. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
