Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders and teams to provide an outstanding technical and work environment for all employees. The team undertakes a variety of jobs across desktop, AV, and facilities support.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead projects focused on enhancing Liberty IT's office environments, desktop and device hardware and software, digital communications, and connectivity for different meeting experiences (in-person, hybrid, virtual).
2. Facilitate project delivery, ensuring team members own, score, and deliver tasks or stories.
3. Facilitate agile ceremonies, communicate progress regularly.
4. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives to meet Liberty IT's targets.
5. Mentor and guide junior team members.
6. Partner with employees and lead teams to maximize business value.
7. Participate in continuous improvement practices to optimize employee experience, safety, and security.
8. Review and contribute to engineering and operations standards.
9. Grow knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware, and software.
10. Assess and adopt new solutions using data-driven approaches.
11. Share knowledge through tech talks, blogging, and external events.
Technology Support Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to maintain software and hardware during office hours.
2. Manage processes for new hire setups, including devices and desks.
3. Respond to and resolve support requests and tickets.
4. Identify and develop solutions for recurring issues.
5. Document solutions for team sharing.
Digital Communications and AV Engineering:
1. Manage on-site, hybrid, and remote events with AV and communication tools (Zoom, MS Teams).
2. Respond to support requests and resolve issues.
3. Maintain AV and communication tools, update licenses.
Office Environment Support:
1. Maintain office environment, support events, manage capacity, coordinate moves.
2. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 5 years' experience supporting large-scale office environments.
* Experience with software, hardware, A/V technologies, and office environments.
* Experience leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Partnering with end-users using a user co-creation approach.
* Current industry-recognized certifications.
Desired Criteria:
* Participation in knowledge sharing activities.
* Experience building customer-centric solutions balancing technical and user needs.
