Process Operator – Energy from Waste
Circa £40,000 + Shift allowance+ annual bonus+ benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting a Process Operator/Fuel Operator to join an energy from waste power station in Bicester, Oxfordshire area. As the Process Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out operational activities within tipping hall.
Reporting to the Tipping Hall Supervisor, the Process Operator/Fuel Operator will be responsible for mobile plant operations within the tipping hall to ensure an efficient and consistent delivery of fuel to the boiler.
As the Process Operator you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the weighbridge is carried out efficiently to and record waste deliveries to the site
Operation of mobile plant equipment in the tipping hall area to manage the waste effectively
Accepting the delivery of site consumables
Conducting basic first line maintenance when required to assist the operations team
Managing vehicles onsite to ensure a smooth and safe delivery of waste to the bunkers
To be considered for this role you should have:
Experience working in the waste / EFW sector or other heavy processing environments e.g. quarry, cement works, anaerobic digestion, water treatment etc
Experience operating a wide range of mobile plant equipment such an excavator, loading shovel, 360 excavator, FLT etc
Good verbal and written communication skills
A good attitude and willingness to learn
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on an early and late shift pattern.
