About the Trust

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the efficient operational aspects of the Facilities Department within the site.
* Lead on the development of the standardisation of practices and processes within the area of responsibility to support the delivery of modern Facilities service with a customer care focused approach.
* Hold a key managerial role within the Estates and Facilities function, leading by example, providing a professional, positive customer focused ethos, and striving to deliver high quality outcomes.
* Support the Facilities team to ensure robust systems and processes are embedded within the area of responsibility, are efficient, have sufficient governance in place, and are standardised in line with overall Estates and Facilities systems and processes.
* Manage the preparation of timely accurate reports, ensuring they are produced and submitted as requested by Estates management and the Safety and Quality team.
* Assist with the development of key performance indicator reports for the Facilities department to monitor the performance of the Facilities teams, identify performance targets and provide regular reports on performance which recommend any required improvements.
* Produce regular performance reports and highlight reports.
* Support Facilities in complying with all relevant legislation and guidance, including Health Technical Memorandums, Standing Financial Instructions, and Food Safety Legislation.
