About the Role
You will deliver high‑quality Maths teaching to pupils with a range of special educational needs, adapting lessons to meet individual requirements and helping students grow in confidence and independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a specialist environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to SEND pupils
2. Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning needs
3. Track progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and assessments
4. Work closely with support staff and wider teaching teams
5. Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
7. Experience working within SEND is highly desirable
8. Strong knowledge of secondary Maths curriculum
9. Ability to adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles
10. Excellent communication, patience, and resilience
