What does the role of Service Advisor involve?
* Providing estimates for work and booking service and repair appointments for customers’ vehicles
* Advising on recommended actions and accurately invoicing for work carried out
* Keeping customers informed of available extras, accessories, and value-added products, while maximizing upselling opportunities
What qualities do I need to succeed in the Service Advisor role?
* Background in customer service and an interest in the automotive industry, whether on or off the vehicle
* Excellent organisational skills and confidence using computer systems
* Experience in sales, maintaining high customer service levels while meeting KPIs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A passion for providing exceptional service and making customers happy
