Restaurant Manager – New Opening (City Centre, Birmingham) Location: Birmingham City Centre Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum performance bonus Hours: Full-time | Approx. 48 hours per week We are recruiting a Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house operation at a high-quality restaurant in Birmingham city centre, operated by an established group behind Michelin- and AA-accredited venues. This is a hands-on management role for a confident hospitality professional who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent guest experiences across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Role As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the front of house, ensuring service standards, team performance, and guest satisfaction remain consistently high. Key responsibilities include: Managing daily front-of-house operations across all services Leading, scheduling, training, and motivating the FOH team Delivering warm, professional service and handling guest feedback effectively Supporting labour planning, stock control, and cost management alongside senior management Ensuring compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company standards Working closely with the kitchen and wider team on menus, events, and promotions Acting as a visible leader on the floor during service About You Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Senior Duty Manager Background in quality-led restaurants or premium hospitality environments Confident people manager with excellent communication skills Commercially aware, organised, and calm under pressure Passionate about service, standards, and team development Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods Right to work in the UK What’s on Offer Circa £40,000 base salary, plus performance-related bonus Key management role within a growing, quality-focused restaurant group Strong support structure and clear progression opportunities Staff meals, training, and group-wide discounts Opportunity to help shape service culture at a flagship city-centre site
