Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Sheffield.
As a vital part of our hospitality organisation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food and beverage service.
* Provide a warm and personalised welcome to all guests, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
* Lead, develop, and support a team of service specialists in daily hotel operations.
* Maintain high standards of service, contributing to the attainment of the department's qualitative and quantitative targets.
* Assist the F&B Manager to implement hotel strategy and reach KPI's.
* Develop close relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and enhance guest satisfaction
* Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages, ensuring presentation and quality meet our exacting standards
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand menu items and communicate special dietary requirements
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns
* Contribute to the overall success of the team by supporting colleagues and adapting to operational demands.
Qualifications
* Passion for hospitality and food and beverage service
* Previous experience in a similar food and beverage role is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong team player with a collaborative approach
* Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and presentation
* Flexible and adaptable, willing to meet the demands of a dynamic hospitality environment
* Basic knowledge of food safety practices
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
* Customer service-oriented with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry moderate loads
* Basic numeracy skills for handling financial transactions
* Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
