Southend City Council’s Targeted Youth Support Service have some exciting new opportunities to join the team at Shoebury Youth &munity Centre as a permanent part-time Positive Activities Worker.The team are expanding the physical activities that they offer young people and are particularly keen to hear from individuals with climbing qualifications as they want to deliver engaging and inclusive sessions that promote health, confidence, and wellbeing.
The salary for this position is pro rata'd to the 10hrs per week.

What you'll need to succeed
To be shortlisted for this position, you MUST have a level 3 Climbing Wall Instructor certificate or level 3 Rock Climbing Instructor certificate.You will need to have experience of working with children and young people, be flexible,passionate, calm, understanding, fun, able to manage difficult situations and be a good listener.
