Utilities Lead/Coordinator (2 posts) to manage the design development, procurement and delivery of the contestable and non-contestable works associated with utility diversions on Section C23 of HS2. The work entails significant interaction with 15 Statutory Undertakers including Thames Water, UKPN, Openreach and SGN.
Please note this is inside IR35, £450-£500 per day. 3 days per week onsite.
2 Contractors are required for the North and South location as follows:
South - NCA (Wendover – approximately HP22 6EJ), AA (Aylesbury – assume HP17 8NR) or Calvert (assume MK18 4FF)
North position would be Brackley (NN13 7EY) "
* Responsible for dealing with construction phase short notice changes in the utilities discipline (comprising field change requests and technical queries)
* Responsible for managing and responding to utility based PMAFs, shop drawings and NCR's
* Responsible for timely response to the above to align with contractual KPI's
* Responsible for elevating technical issues to the wider utility design team where technical support to site based teams is required
* Work alongside wider utilities team and project leadership
* Working and understanding of multi-disciplinary delivery; interfacing with main works delivery teams
* Manage the delivery of elements in accordance with Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets
* Working to ensure maximum client satisfaction, championing client care and proactively working with the client
* Promote SHE good practice within team
* Work collaboratively with wider design team disciplines within an agreed engineering management environment to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution
* Provision and guidance of sound technical solutions, coordinating these with the wider utility design team where required
* Technical compliance with Statutory Undertakers, HS2 requirements
* Delivery to agreed programme
* Inter-disciplinary interface with Main Works Civils Packages
* Inter-disciplinary interface with temporary works.
* Able to identify the limits of both their personal knowledge and skills the limits of their team's skill and knowledge
