11:FS is on a mission to change the fabric of financial services. Our Ventures practice builds challenger propositions globally, like we did for Natwest with Mettle. Our Pulse team creates a benchmarking tool used by the likes of Monzo, Starling, Natwest and Tesco Bank. On top of all of that, we’re a media company, our Growth team generate a stream of content that supports our brand and changes the conversation - not necessarily in that order. Our Foundry team is creating a fintech building machine by leveraging our experience and history of building multiple fintech banks and other propositions.

This role will sit within the 11:FS Growth team. The media department within the Growth team manages all the audio, video, and events content that 11:FS publishes with shows including Fintech Insider, Blockchain Insider, After Dark, documentary content such as Decoding: Banks and many more.
The content that we produce reaches a global audience of engaged financial services experts weekly, and through our content we are promoting the 11:FS name and thought leadership around the world. Fintech Insider has surpassed 22 million downloads with a back catalogue of over 850 episodes reaching new audiences and geographies month on month.
Summary of Role:
To drive the growth of the 11:FS brand and podcast audience through content creation, show writing, scoping, planning, production and delivery across our podcast network, live events and auxiliary content.
Key Responsibilities:
To have an active role in nearly all content creation and production across all our channels and podcast network, in two main categories:
Content creation:
Oversee all content creation across Fintech Insider news, insights and interviews, client work and live shows to maintain quality and increase reach
* Writing show notes for all Fintech Insider shows (a minimum of twice weekly), as well as ad hoc interviews, live shows, events, and client work
* Researching the best guests globally for the topic and expanding our black book of contacts, and pairing them with the best host for the topic
* Scoping, planning and researching new show ideas and topics with content and prod team to keep our content fresh and constantly evolving and improving
* Test and learn in real time and make changes accordingly
* Driving distribution of our content and growth of our audience by collaborating with the marketing team to get maximum exposure
* Collaboration with clients and internal business lines to put sponsored shows and content together
Content Production
Alongside the audio and video production team, to lead and manage all recordings, and post-production to maintain high quality output across all content
* Attending all Fintech Insider podcast and video recordings - producing the hosts and guests in the room
* Working with the editing team to ensure high quality of content and audio/video across all content output
* Helping set up and takedown of all production equipment
* Facilitating remote, hybrid and in person recordings with A/V team and guests
* Guest bookings and liaising with PA/PR/Comms/Marketing in big organisations to pitch the show to them and make sure all requirements are understood
* Vetting and auditing all guests to ensure quality contributions across all shows
* Event and live show scoping, bookings, logistics and staging
Skills/ Experience
* 4+ years of experience in some aspect of creative marketing or media, particularly digital formats
* Impeccable written English and copywriting flair, any journalism or copywriting experience to date preferred
* Ability to write for different formats (spoken, written, live, panel shows, 121 interviews etc)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and to tight deadlines for publication
* Ability to absorb complicated financial subject matter and create accessible content that can be enjoyed by all audiences regardless of level of expertise
* Excited by fintech, financial services, and the impact it is having around the world - previous experience within the industry preferred but not essential
* A passion for content, particularly podcasts, with a creative mind and a proactive outlook to suggest new content topics and formats
