Assistant Management AccountantLocation: North ManchesterIndustry: Manufacturing Our client, a leading manufacturer, has recently undergone significant investment and growth. They are now seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting the Finance Controller and wider finance team, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):
1. Production of weekly accounts
2. Month-end processing and analysis, including:Preparation of accruals and prepaymentsPosting payroll journalsDraft P&L and Balance Sheet preparation
3. Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations
4. Supplier reconciliations
5. VAT returns
6. Overhead analysis andmentary
7. ONS returns
8. Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation calculations
9. Assist and support the Operations Accountant and Finance Director
Requirements
10. Part-qualified accountant studier, (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
11. Strong Excel skills, pivot tables/V-Look-ups
12. Determination, initiative, and a proactive approach
