Salary: Grade E (SCP9 - SCP15) £27,254 - £30,024 FTE
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2027, Fulltime, All year round
About the Role
Family Engagement Officer – The core of the role is building strong, trusted relationships with families and acting as a key source of support for vulnerable pupils.
Key Responsibilities
* Work directly with children and families facing social, emotional, behavioural, attendance or well‑being challenges, ensuring every child can engage fully in school life and achieve their potential.
* Collaborate pro‑actively with parents, carers and external agencies to encourage participation in school life, improve attendance and promote positive outcomes for all students.
* Maintain high expectations for attendance, engagement and achievement, inspiring confidence within the community while upholding pastoral and inclusion work.
* Serve as a trusted advocate for families, a champion for attendance and well‑being, and a vital bridge between home, school and the wider community.
