Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant Clinical Social Worker to join HPFT's Community CYPMHS Team on a 12‑month maternity cover. HPFT is at the forefront of integrated health and social care, and is one of only a handful of mental health trusts in the country to receive a CQC rating of ‘OUTSTANDING’.
Responsibilities
* Provide mental‑health assessments and interventions to young people, their families and carers, working with high levels of complexity and risk.
* Work closely with social‑care professionals, schools, partner agencies and multidisciplinary team members (clinical social workers, nurses, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and operational staff).
* Manage a caseload of young‑person clients, ensuring adherence to evidence‑based models and organisational protocols, policies and KPIs.
* Facilitate safeguarding consultations and discussion spaces within the team.
* Deliver supervision and clinical support to other clinicians in the team.
* Participate in senior‑leadership team meetings and help inform decision‑making on complex cases.
* Support the development and shaping of services, ensuring quality and compliance with iThrive, CAPA and CYP‑IAPT frameworks.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Consultant Clinical Social Worker.
* Registered with HCPC.
