Job Description About the Opportunity We are recruiting for an Employment Solicitor to join a leading Yorkshire law firm with over 20 branches across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified to 3 years PQE Employment Solicitor to develop their career in employment claimant work within a supportive and progressive team environment. The Role Employment caseload management: Managing a diverse portfolio of employment matters for individual claimants under partner supervision Settlement agreement advisory: Providing expert advice to clients on settlement agreements, ensuring optimal outcomes and protection of rights Employment tribunal representation: Preparing cases for and representing clients at employment tribunal hearings with comprehensive knowledge of tribunal processes Client consultation and advice: Conducting client meetings, providing clear legal advice on employment rights and potential claims Case preparation and documentation: Preparing comprehensive case files, witness statements, and legal documentation to the highest standards Legal research and analysis: Conducting detailed research into employment law, recent case law, and regulatory changes Discrimination and harassment claims: Handling sensitive cases involving workplace discrimination, harassment, and unfair treatment Unfair dismissal proceedings: Managing complex unfair dismissal cases from initial consultation through to tribunal resolution Client care excellence: Maintaining exceptional client care standards whilst working efficiently to meet strict deadlines Professional development: Contributing to team knowledge sharing and staying current with employment law developments What We're Looking For Qualified Solicitor with NQ to 3 years PQE in employment law Strong experience in employment claimant work and tribunal processes Excellent knowledge of employment law and recent case developments Organised and methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail Ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written Friendly and professional demeanour with ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Commitment to maintaining excellent client care standards Ambition to develop career and build expertise in employment law What We Offer Competitive salary dependent on skills and experience Hybrid working arrangements - 3 days office, 2 days home after probationary period Full-time permanent position with excellent career progression opportunities Partner supervision and ongoing professional development support Modern Leeds City Centre office location with excellent transport links Working with a firm that has 4.8-star rating from over 2,800 client reviews Employee-owned business with strong commitment to staff development Access to comprehensive legal resources and precedent systems Opportunity to specialise in meaningful employment law work Recognition and reward for hard work and ability About Us Our client is one of Yorkshire's leading law firms with over 20 branches across the region.
