Omnis Partners is partnering with a profitable, PE-backed company at the intersection of data, media, and digital platforms.
They’re hiring their first in-house engineering lead, the founding technical hire who will set the tone for the company’s engineering function.
🧠About the role
You’ll work closely with the CTO to take full responsibility for a live, revenue-generating data platform.
Simplify existing systems.
Remove technical complexity.
Define and implement the future-state architecture.
Build a scalable foundation for the team to grow.
Hands-on when needed, but always driving architectural leadership.
🏗️ Your responsibilities
* Take charge of the current data platform powering the core product
* Address technical debt, mitigate architectural risks, and design the future state
* Make build vs buy choices, define data models, and set integration standards
* Own cloud setup, cost management, reliability, and operational best practices
* Drive CI/CD and deployment pipelines, ensuring engineering standards
* Influence and help shape the structure of the growing engineering team

👤 You’ll excel if you
* Are a Lead Architect, Principal Engineer, or Senior Engineering Lead
* Have experience taking responsibility for data-heavy, cloud-native platforms
* Make decisions with commercial sense: balancing speed, cost, and scale
* Are comfortable joining as an early or founding engineering hire
