Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
1. Salary: Up to £24,243 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
2. Working pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year)
3. Location: Sparsholt Campus
4. Closing date: 8th January 2026
As the initial contact point of the college, you will deliver a courteous and efficient counter and phone service to external customers, students and staff.
The role entails operating digital phones/switchboard, a central radio system, a postal franking machine along with using various databases and maintaining manual and electronic records. Full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will:
•Have demonstrable experience of working in a busy frontline environment.
•Possess a strong customer focus along with a “can-do” attitude.
•Have excellent communication skills.
•Be competent in the use of the full range of Microsoft applications (word/excel/outlook and calendar)
•Have good organisation and team-working skills.
•Possess GCSE English and Maths at level C/4 or above or equivalent.
We require a degree of flexibility from the successful candidate who can offer additional hours to cover planned annual leave and sickness.
Term Time Hours:
8:30am – 5:00pm - Mon/Tue/Thurs/Fri
8:00am – 4:30pm – Wed
Out of Term Time Hours:
8:30am – 5:00pm – Mon - Fri
