Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrating excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake replacements.
* Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and tools.
* Repair or replace defective parts and components.
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Skills
* Proficient in vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good communication skills for interacting with colleagues.
