Job Description
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
* Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time
* Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategise solutions, and help organisations run efficiently
* Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximisation strategies
* Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts
* Coordinating audit processes
* Performing ad-hoc assignments as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
* Experience in a similar role and/or industry
* Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
* Strong understanding of accounting principles
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
* Superb time management and organisational skills
* Comfortable communicating with stakeholders across different sites and countries
