About Chevron Traffic Management:
We set up temporary road or lane closures, diversions, and pedestrian routes to ensure safety during roadworks, involving signage, traffic lights, barriers, and more. Role of Vehicle Technician:
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will maintain company vehicles, mobile plant, and trailers to DVSA standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Servicing vehicles per manufacturer guidelines
* MOT preparation
* Repairing/replacing faulty parts
* Diagnosing vehicle issues
* Documenting work (job sheets, reports)
* Maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness
* Supporting workshop activities as needed
Essential Attributes:
* Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
* 2+ years' experience in vehicle maintenance/repair
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to diagnose faults
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience with Light Goods Vehicles
* Category C licence
* Electrical skills
* Experience with Heavy Goods Vehicles or mobile plant
