Contract Duration: 6–12 months (with potential extension or hire permanently)
We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Onsite Support Engineer (OSS) to join our client that is in the semi-conductor sector.
Responsibilities
* Deliver onsite support for all IT hardware, software, and services.
* Manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
* Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including device setup and data migration.
* Provide hands-on assistance for remote support teams and coordinate local resolutions.
* Handle installation, configuration, and decommissioning of end-user and infrastructure equipment (laptops, servers, network, and AV systems).
* Support network operations through patching and troubleshooting.
* Maintain IT inventory and stock, ensuring accurate records and asset management.
* Provide printer and hardware repair support, coordinating vendor services where required.
Experience / Qualifications
* 6–10 years of experience in IT onsite, desktop, or field support.
* Strong understanding of Windows environments, hardware support, and networking fundamentals.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
* Comfortable working independently and collaborating with global IT teams.
* Experience supporting conference room and server room equipment is a plus.
