Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a growing and forward-thinking organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. Due to continued growth and success, this is a newly created opportunity within the finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the end-to-end accounts payable function, leading a team, and driving the implementation of a new ERP system.

Key Responsibilities
1. Full responsibility for the end-to-end accounts payable process
2. Manage and develop the accounts payable team, overseeing day-to-day operations
3. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of invoices
4. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities for accounts payable
5. Review supplier statement reconciliations, identifying issues and taking appropriate corrective action
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
7. Ensure compliance with internal company policies and HMRC regulations
8. Support external audits by providing documentation and responding to queries as required
9. Lead and support the ERP implementation for the accounts payable function
10. Processing of supplier credit notes
The Person
11. Proven experience managing the end-to-end accounts payable function
12. Previous experience leading or supervising an accounts payable team
13. Strong working knowledge of accounts payable controls, reconciliations, and compliance
14. Experience or exposure to ERP systems, with involvement in system implementation highly desirable
15. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
16. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
17. Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
