The Role
As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in carrying out diagnostic work, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards. You'll also be a technical expert within the workshop, supporting colleagues and ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Performing vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
* Conducting advanced diagnostics and fault finding
* Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
* Supporting other technicians.
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional workshop environment
* Working efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
* Ability to change tyres and other ADHOC duties.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Proven experience in diagnostics and repair work
* Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* At least 5 years experience withing a working garage.
