Are you an experienced electrical or multi-skilled engineer ready to step away from the tools and into a role where you can genuinely shape the next generation?

This is a unique opportunity to move into a training and development role, working directly with engineering apprentices across the Humber region. Youll play a key part in supporting their progress, assessing their skills in real-world environments, and helping them build long-term careers in industry.

The Role

As a Field Team Assessor, youll visit apprentices in their workplaces across the region, supporting and assessing their development against apprenticeship standards.

Youll be out on site, working closely with learners and employers, ensuring high standards of training, engagement and progression.

Key responsibilities include:

* Visiting apprentices on-site across the Humber region
* Assessing competence against apprenticeship standards
* Supporting learners with guidance, feedback and development
* Building strong relationships with employers and apprentices
* Maintaining accurate assessment records and reports
* Promoting a positive learning culture and safeguarding standards

What Were Looking For

Essential:

* Strong background in electrical or multi-skilled engineering
* Relevant industry qualifications
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* Genuine interest in supporting and developing young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable (but not essential):

* Assessor qualification (A1 / CAVA / equivalent)
* IQA qualification

No teaching or assessing experience? No problem full training and support will be provided to help you transition into the role.
