Job Description
3. Schedule engineers using Outlook and phone communication
4. Manage a busy service inbox
5. Log job details and updates on spreadsheets and internal systems
6. Raise purchase orders and order parts from suppliers
7. Chase suppliers for delivery dates and availability
8. Update customers on job progress, ETAs and delays
9. Take service calls and prioritise urgent requests
10. Support basic invoicing preparation (passing job details to Accounts)
11. Organise job sheets, notes, and paperwork from engineers
The Successful Applicant
A successful Service Administrator should have:
12. Experience in a Service Administrator, Service Coordinator, Helpdesk, or scheduling role
13. Strong telephone and email communication skills
14. Good organisation and ability to manage fast-moving workloads
15. Confident using Outlook, Excel, and general office software
16. Experience raising purchase orders and ordering parts
17. Ability to work accurately in a pressured environment
18. Quick learner who can pick up internal processes rapidly
