As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Liaison Psychiatry based at QEQM Hospital in Margate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services and actively participating in the strategic development of the team and broader services.
East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust is a large acute hospital trust providing a full range of general hospital services to approximately 500,000 residents in East Kent. The Liaison Psychiatry Service offers a single point of contact for the mental health needs of patients attending the Emergency Department or admitted to the hospital.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Providing psychiatric care to patients referred to the Liaison Psychiatry Service.
2. Offering professional and clinical leadership to the Liaison Multidisciplinary Team.
3. Providing clinical supervision to the medical team and leadership to the Liaison MDT.
