As a Recruitment Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in a fast-paced, people-focused environment where no two days are the same. You’ll work across multiple departments, and across both Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies, helping to deliver a seamless recruitment experience from start to finish. From responding to applicants and coordinating interviews to supporting assessment centres and processing pre-employment checks, your work will directly impact the future of our police forces. While recruitment experience is a plus, what really matters is your ability to deliver excellent customer service, juggle multiple tasks, and stay organised under pressure. You’ll need to have: Proven and effective administrative skills A firm understanding of confidentiality Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Confidence using ICT systems including Word, Excel, and Outlook Great time management and the ability to prioritise Experience taking ownership of tasks and delivering results The ability to travel to recruitment events as needed It would be great if you also have: Experience in HR, recruitment, or a shared service function Knowledge of the police service CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience In addition to the essential and desirable criteria, experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) would be advantageous.
