Materials Planner - Responsible for driving demand planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP execution. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align forecasts, manage material flows, and support business objectives while ensuring cost efficiency and service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Work with regional sales and operations teams to create and maintain 12–18 month regional and global forecasts.
* Convert demand plans into physical orders while understanding business trends and their impact on forecasts.
* Assist in executing and driving consistency of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
* Analyze incoming demand to identify exceptions, misalignment with product strategy, and inventory utilization opportunities.
* Plan and schedule order timelines aligned with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and logistics costs.
* Collaborate with Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery teams to prioritize delivery schedules (push‑outs/pull‑ins).
* Perform material management analysis including consumption trends, forecasts, aged inventory, safety stock, and in‑transit materials.
* Implement and monitor inventory stocking strategies and safety stock levels across global and regional locations.

Qualifications & Experience

* Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders and influencing decision‑making.
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and urgency.
