Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Boeing Defence UK Supply Chain team! We are looking for dynamic and ambitious procurement professionals to join the Boeing UK Digital Programme Supplier Management & Procurement Team.
The successful candidate will be a key interface for the Supplier Management and Procurement function, acting as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all end-to-end supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
Responsibilities:
* Implement supplier management and procurement best practices, ensuring compliance with Boeing processes.
* Contribute to the overall supply chain solution development to meet customer product and in-service requirements.
* Support the development of supply chain architecture, internal make-or-buy strategies, and work share decisions to meet customer needs.
* Support bid package development, including supplier source selection and proposal evaluation, in compliance with Boeing's IBAP.
* Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and license agreements.
* Prepare, review, and implement contractual documents and agreements, including Proprietary Information Agreements.
* Manage risks, issues, and opportunities.
* Initiate and carry out supplier improvement activities, integrating results into contracting strategies.
* Provide support for purchasing goods and services.
* Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and functional areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, a creative problem solver, and able to collaborate across multiple functions to develop strategic supply chain approaches.
* Relevant experience in supply chain management or procurement, ideally within Information Services categories.
* Knowledge of Information Service contracts and software licensing models.
* Experience with purchase order management and supplier relations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer-focused skills.
* Experience in the Defence Industry and Information Systems.
* CIPS Level 4 or working towards it.
