We are looking for someone who can lead our creative content to the next level, using our newly developed creative platform through all our communications. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead the future of the brand, working with a small in-house team and external agencies reporting to the Marketing Director. Would be an exciting move for someone who is looking for their next step up into a lead role but has had some previous experience of leading creative brand projects or working in a small business developing a brand.
Role summary
The Creative Lead owns the overall creative direction of the brand and is responsible for the planning, creation, and delivery of creative assets across all channels. This includes earned, paid, and owned channels such as PR, social, advertising, packaging, email, and website.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will design and create assets yourself where appropriate, while also leading agencies and internal colleagues to deliver high-quality creative at speed. You are not expected to produce large-scale, high-end media campaigns, but you are expected to set a clear creative vision and ensure consistent, effective execution everywhere the brand shows up.
Key responsibilities
Creative direction
* Own and evolve the brand's creative direction across all touchpoints
* Ensure consistency of tone, look, and feel across earned, paid, and owned channels
* Translate brand and business strategy into clear creative briefs and outputs
Creative production
* Design and produce core creative assets where needed, social assets, web content, presentations, and brand materials
* Oversee the creation of assets produced by agencies or freelancers
* Ensure creative output is practical, on-brand, and effective
Channel coverage
* Earned channels. Support PR and partnerships with strong creative ideas and assets
* Paid channels. Guide creative for performance and brand advertising in collaboration with marketing
* Owned channels. Oversee website, email, and content visuals to ensure clarity and consistency
Leadership and collaboration
* Lead and inspire agencies, freelancers, and internal teams
* Manage stakeholders across marketing, commercial, and leadership teams
* Provide clear, constructive feedback and make decisive creative calls
Process and delivery
* Balance creative ambition with budget, timelines, and business priorities
* Improve creative workflows and ways of working as the company grows
* Maintain high standards without slowing the business down
What we're looking for
Experience (Preferred)
* Proven experience leading creative projects, or in a small business with a small team
* Strong background in brand and multi-channel creative
* Experience managing agencies and external partners
* in House & Food & Drink experience)

What this role is not
* Not a hands-off creative director role
* Not a production-heavy campaign studio role
* Not a siloed design position with no influence
What success looks like
* A new brand platform is clearly defined and successfully rolled out across all touchpoints, including earned, paid, and owned channels
* The brand looks and feels consistent everywhere, from website and social to advertising and PR
* Agencies have a clear, practical understanding of how to deliver the brand in the channels they are responsible for
* Internal teams understand how to use the brand confidently and correctly
* Creative assets are delivered on time and in full, meeting briefs, deadlines, and quality standards
* Creative output supports commercial goals without unnecessary complexity
