About the Role
We are working on behalf of a fantastic special school located in the Newbury area, seeking a teacher to join their team from January (ideally!). The school caters to students with a range of special needs, primarily focusing on Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH).
The primary site is a lovely, well-located setting with a close-knit team of friendly staff. They are always looking for similarly friendly and dedicated individuals to join their team!
Responsibilities
The vacancy is in a KS1 class of 8 students, supported by 2 permanent teaching assistants. You will be expected to plan and mark your own lessons following the primary curriculum.
Experience working with SEMH students is preferred. You should feel confident managing challenging behaviour and have a genuine desire to work with SEMH students.
