We are working with a highly respected advanced manufacturing company in the Oxfordshire area, specialising in high-performance composite components across sectors such as motorsport, aerospace, and automotive.
Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to bring in experienced Composite Technicians on either a contract or permanent basis.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of composite component production, working within a skilled and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Laminating composite components using prepreg and/or wet lay‑up techniques
* Vacuum bagging and preparing parts for autoclave curing
* Trimming, fettling, and finishing components to tight tolerances
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and lay‑up manuals
* Carrying out quality checks to ensure high-performance standards are met
* Working across a variety of complex and bespoke projects
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Composite Technician / Laminator / Trimmer
* Strong background in prepreg laminating (motorsport/aerospace preferred)
* Experience with trimming, bonding, and finishing techniques
* Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
* High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
* Flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team
