Senior Digital Engineer/FPGA Type: Permanent, full-time. Salary: £40,000 to £75,000 with willingness to pay more for the right candidate. Location: Livingston, United Kingdom - Eligible for Hybrid Working. Why new role: To expand Hardware team. The Role As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, you will take ownership of architecting and designing electronic digital circuitry for industrial, healthcare/life sciences, and aerospace/defence market sectors. You will collaborate with talented hardware, software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and test engineers throughout all phases of the product development life cycle - from idea and conceptualize; through requirements, design, and development; to manufacturing transition and into the market. You will work on a wide range of practical experience and be able to quickly expand your knowledge into new areas as appropriate for the task. You will derive technical performance specifications from high-level use cases, even if these are not well-defined, and communicate ideas well with customers and internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate well with other technical specialists and enable them to contribute to the design process. Skills and Experience Possession of a degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject Ability to take ownership of architecting and designing electronic digital circuitry for industrial, healthcare/life sciences, and aerospace/defence market sectors.
