Testing & Quality Assurance Sales Manager

Our specialist change and transformation consultancy client is hiring a Testing & Quality Assurance Sales Manager to drive growth across its Testing & Quality Assurance practice. This is a strong opportunity for a consultative seller with experience winning testing-led work in enterprise environments—especially within Financial Services and other complex, regulated sectors. The firm offers services across Change Execution, Managed Services/Change Partner, Joint Venture (risk/reward), and Advisory & Assurance, underpinned by delivery capability in PMO, testing, and business/data analysis.
About the opportunity:
You’ll be responsible for building pipeline, shaping testing propositions, and converting opportunities across services such as:
* Functional Testing
* Regression Testing
* Performance Testing
* Test Automation
* Multi-platform Testing
* Security Testing
* Quality Capability Review / Recovery
* Quality Assurance Delivery
What you’ll be doing:
* Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → solution shaping → proposal → close
* Build a strong pipeline for testing and QA consulting / managed services opportunities
* Engage senior stakeholders (Technology, Change, QA, Delivery, Ops, Risk) to position outcomes-led solutions
* Shape client propositions across project-based testing support, managed testing services, QA assurance and quality capability improvement, risk/reward and outcome-based delivery models
* Work closely with delivery leaders and SMEs to develop compelling proposals, SOWs, and commercials
* Convert testing demand into broader transformation opportunities (PMO, data/BA, change delivery)
* Maintain CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and clear reporting on pipeline performance
* Build long-term client relationships, renewals, and account expansion plans
What our client is looking for:
* Proven B2B sales experience in consulting / professional services, ideally focused on:
* Testing / QA services
* Quality engineering
* Transformation delivery
* Managed services
* Strong track record winning work in enterprise and/or regulated environments (Financial Services highly relevant)
* Confident leading discovery and converting client pain points into structured, credible solutions
* Commercially strong: able to navigate SOWs, frameworks, rate cards, retainers, and managed service agreements
* Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders across complex buying groups
* High-energy, self-starting, relationship-led sales style with excellent follow-through
* Strong written communication (proposals, executive summaries, solution positioning)
Nice to have:
* Existing network across Banking, Insurance, Payments, or Capital Markets
* Experience selling testing automation, performance testing, or security testing
* Exposure to outcome-based / risk-reward commercial models
* Understanding of change delivery disciplines (PMO, programme delivery, BA, governance)
