We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in our Witham office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least four days per week in the office.
The role: Trainee Sales Advisor
We recruit for potential, not industry experience. We are seeking individuals who aspire to be leading contributors to our business and who can embrace the opportunity to complete our fully funded training programme and attain chartered insurance qualifications.
As part of our new Sales team, you’ll be responsible for generating sales leads via telephone, providing information, and supporting our ongoing sales campaigns.

We will rely on you to:
* Provide excellent client service on all aspects of account management, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with service standards.
* Ensure timely completion of all tasks, always maintaining client satisfaction.
* Demonstrate adaptability to support colleagues in business-critical tasks.
* Manage quotation requests from prospective clients.
* Share product and service information with clients as requested.
* Respond to queries via email and telephone.
* Develop a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered, keeping abreast of new technical and product developments through training, coaching, and mentoring.
What you need to have:
* Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence on the phone.
* A willingness to learn.
* A willingness to make a high volume of outbound sales calls.
* Punctuality and good time management.
* Strong literacy, numeracy, administration, and communication skills demonstrated through qualifications or educational grades.
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required.
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and similar products.

* Prior insurance experience is a plus but not essential.
