Administration Team Lead

East Cumbria Community Treatment Team (CTT) Administration Services.
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent B4 Administration Team Lead to join our transforming East Cumbria CTT. This is an exciting time for North Cumbria Adult Mental Health Services which are undergoing transformation works and as such administration services are contributing to this agenda, this position would be ideal for organised, responsive and motivated individuals who are committed to change management principles.
This role will oversee administrative staff (Admin Assistants and Officers) based at three sites:
 * Portland Square, Carlisle
 * Wavell Drive, Carlisle
Candidates are required to meet the mobility requirements for this post as travelling across this geographical footprint is essential on a regular basis.
It is desirable the candidate has experience of providing day-to-day management of staff otherwise this post could provide an ideal development opportunity for those wishing to begin their career in management and would like to learn further management/leadership skills. This post will provide training and development opportunities - the service is committed to upskilling our workforce via CNTW Academy and the NHS Leadership Academy.
Full support will be provided by an experienced Admin Manager and the candidate will receive peer support from their counterpart in West Cumbria.
Main duties of the job
To be personally accountable to the Administration Manager for the management and co-ordination of the administrative support services a ensuring all systems and processes operate efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner through a process of continuous improvement.
To provide support to the Administration Manager where required and act as their deputy as necessary.
The post holder will be able to evidence:
 * Experience in a customer/client focussed environment in the last 12-months
 * Experience of developing and maintaining positive and responsive "front of house" operations.
 * Experience of responding to day-to-day staff issues such as recruitment, supervision, appraisal, training, performance and quality management.
 * The post holder must be able to use their own initiative, work under pressure, adhere to strict deadlines and have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
 * Requirement to cover in the absence of the other Admin Team Lead and be prepared to step in to cover tasks of the admin team where necessary at short-notice.
 * Provide coordinator/support/cover to other departments when needed.
 * Desirable: A working knowledge of electronic patient record systems (i.e. RiO) and dashboards - Training will be given.
The post holder must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with possible exposure to highly distressing or highly emotional circumstances and will be expected to participate in all relevant training courses appropriate to the role.

Education and Qualification
 * General level of education to O-Level /GCSE or equivalent
 * NVQ Level 3 Supervisory /Management qualification or equivalent
 * Word/text processing skills, OCR/RSA Level 3 qualification (or the equivalent) plus relevant experience
 * NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care (or equivalent)
 * NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
