Role Overview:
Wright Engineering are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Project Manager to join their team and oversee the successful delivery of engineering projects within the business. This role will involve managing projects from proposal through to on-site completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the delivery of engineering projects across the business.
* Organise and review engineering design progress against project programmes, reporting status to clients and internal teams.
* Plan and coordinate complex engineering schemes in collaboration with project teams.
* Produce and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, proposals, and schedules.
* Manage and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
* Ensure proposals are developed, reviewed, and approved, through to delivery on site.
* Maintain strong client communication and relationships throughout project lifecycle.
Desirable Criteria:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering project management environment.
* Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to engage effectively at all levels within an organisation.
* Educated to degree level (or working towards) in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Proficiency with design tools, including AutoCAD.
* Full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel as required.
