Description About the role: We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our Practice Management Systems (PMS) and Workflow team as a PMS Team Manager here in Birmingham. This role sits within our Business Information Systems team. The PMS & Workflow team provides technical expertise and support for the firm’s Practice Management System (PMS), related financial systems, and key integrations. As PMS Manager, you’ll lead a team of three technical specialists, overseeing day-to-day operations, collaborating with the PMO on project delivery, and working closely with stakeholders across Business and Finance to ensure the effective running of our PMS solutions. About you: We’re looking for a confident and collaborative professional with experience leading technical teams and supporting business-critical systems. You’ll bring strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and business operations, along with hands-on experience in application support, including system upgrades and project work. Familiarity with the Aderant stack or similar practice management and financial systems is highly desirable. You’ll be self-motivated, organised, and adaptable—able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with stakeholders across the organisation. Advantageous Experience of working in a professional services environment Experience using the following Applications (Not essential) Proactis / Coupa or similar procurement systems. Chrome River / Coupa Expense management. Minisoft Arcs2G BPM / low code development environments (Power Platform) IntApp suite of products.
