ABOUT THE POST The School of Human Sciences at London Metropolitan University, seeks to appoint an Associate Lecturer in Drug Discovery who is both enthusiastic and student-focussed to contribute to the delivery of teaching at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. This post provides an exciting opportunity for an individual to help shape the curriculum and its face-to-face delivery on both our Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses; and help support the development of research in the areas of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science within the School. You should have experience of teaching in a Higher Education environment together with previous achievements in research and/or consultancy activities. The School of Human Sciences offers a stimulating teaching and research environment with diverse research activity, including synthesis of novel molecular drug candidates and different approaches to the development of drug delivery systems; metals in health (sensory f-block coordination complexes, systemic iron homeostasis); nanotechnology (electrospinning, nanotoxicology, novel lipid formulations); isolation and characterisation of novel therapeutic phytochemicals.
