We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sports and Facilities Co‑ordinator based at the Centre for Skills & Learning in Pontllanfraith.
The successful candidate will support the daily operation, maintenance, and supervision of the sports facilities including the ATP and Sports Hall, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clubs and community users.
Responsibilities
* Equipment set‑up and health and safety checks
* Minor maintenance and facility upkeep
* Assist with bookings and events
This role requires flexibility for evening and weekend work.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (e.g., in a leisure or sport setting) and Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work.
* Ability to lead and supervise the day‑to‑day operation of a busy sport‑based facility and meet customer needs.
* Experience operating management information systems (e.g., Plus 2).
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, additional hours and differing shift patterns.
