Job Title: Senior Estimator – Dry Lining, Partitions & Ceilings

Location: London & Home (Office + Site + Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Package
We are working with a leading interiors and dry lining contractor who are looking to add a Senior Estimator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of high-value tenders and play a key role in shaping the success of the estimating function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead preparation of accurate cost estimates for dry lining, partitions, suspended ceilings, and associated packages
* Review drawings, specs, and tender documents to assess scope, risks, and opportunities
* Produce detailed take-offs, bills of quantities, and cost breakdowns
* Source and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
* Identify value engineering opportunities to improve competitiveness
* Prepare and present professional tender submissions
* Collaborate with commercial, design, and delivery teams to ensure accurate project handover
* Mentor junior estimators and promote best practice across the team
* Maintain and update estimating databases and benchmarking information
Skills & Experience:
* Proven background in estimating within dry lining / interiors (senior level preferred)
* Knowledge of SFS, plasterboard systems, suspended ceilings, and fit-out works
* Proficient in interpreting drawings and technical documentation
* Strong commercial awareness with analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent client-facing and negotiation skills
* Team-oriented with experience mentoring junior staff
