We are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to lead our team at our Tamworth Site.
Responsibilities
* Support the management team by keeping compliance on the governance agenda and supporting to maintain adherence to legal compliance and Company Health & Safety policies, processes and standards.
* Ensure compliance with any acquired industry accreditations (e.g., ISO, BRC) and Food Safety Standards where applicable.
* Deliver Health & Safety training requirements where appropriate and required; manage Contractor Control processes.
* Facilities: manage external security, catering and cleaning contractors and ensure all legal requirements and safety cadences are met.
* Support and manage the MHE fleet with central facilities; support all pre-planned maintenance schedules; manage all waste streams for the site.
* Maintain and update the “know your building” folder; ensure training and familiarity across the team.
* Be familiar with and understand in-country Health & Safety related legislative requirements; work with various teams to achieve targets or goals.
* Carry out and facilitate audits of compliance and procedural activities (internal and external); manage interaction with multiple departments and 3rd party contractors.
* Understand key facilities management principles (legislative compliance, PPM & PMC programmes) and support documentation and management reports; track KPI’s for site and supplier/contractor performance.
* Maintain accreditation standards (e.g., ISO, BRC) and support continuous personal development.
* Be familiar with legislation pertaining to management of suppliers carrying out maintenance and other activities related to property infrastructures; monitor the PPM for the site.
* Complete audits and health checks demonstrating due diligence, identify risks and engage Lead Managers to fix them.
Qualifications
* Experience in facilities management with knowledge of legislative compliance and industry accreditations.
* Experience working with multiple teams to achieve set targets or goals; ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience carrying out and facilitating audits of compliance and procedural activities (internal and external).
* Competent with Microsoft Office Packages; outstanding organizational skills.
* Willingness to undergo relevant training for the role where required.
* Ability to maintain safe and legal commitments and retain accreditation standards (e.g., ISO, BRC).
* Track KPIs for suppliers and contractors; manage Planned Preventative Maintenance activities.
* Understanding of legislation pertaining to management of suppliers and property infrastructures.
