Overview
The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the venue, maintaining exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the team to deliver outstanding service. Acting as a senior point of contact, this role combines operational oversight with hands-on leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily venue operations to ensure smooth execution and high service standards.
* Support, coach, and develop managers and team members to optimize performance and guest satisfaction.
* Act as the senior escalation point for operational or guest-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Lead by example, engaging with guests to create memorable experiences and encourage repeat visits.
* Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and enhance overall venue performance.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
* Contribute to training initiatives and the continuous development of service excellence across all departments.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a hospitality or leisure management role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
* A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating welcoming experiences.
* Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Financial awareness and understanding of venue performance metrics.
