Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger, Audit, and Compliance Manager with strong expertise in IFRS accounting and auditing practices. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience managing audits for the KSA & Egypt region, a deep understanding of ZAKAT, VAT, and WHT regulations, and proven ability to work closely with external auditors, ensuring the accurate and timely closure of books in compliance with IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger & Financial Reporting:
* Oversee and manage the general ledger function ensuring accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial records.
* Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Prepare detailed schedules supporting each line item of the balance sheet, including but not limited to fixed assets, receivables, payables, accruals, prepayments, intercompany balances, and provisions.
* Resolve complex accounting issues and ensure correct application of IFRS standards.
* Monitor inter-company accounting & reconciliations in line with group policies.
Audit Management:
* Act as the key liaison with external auditors, ensuring audit requirements are met and all supporting documentation is provided.
* Coordinate and manage the entire audit process including planning, execution, and finalization.
* Proactively resolve audit queries and follow up on audit findings with corrective actions.
Compliance & Regulatory:
* Ensure compliance with IFRS, Saudi Arabian tax laws, and internal policies.
* Manage ZAKAT, VAT, and WHT filings and ensure compliance with GAZT / ZATCA regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KSA’s evolving tax and financial compliance landscape.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
* Develop and implement internal control procedures and ensure compliance across the General ledger function.
* Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for operational effectiveness and compliance.
Communication & Coordination:
* Communicate fluently in both English and Arabic, presenting financial information and audit findings to senior management and auditors.
* Collaborate with cross-functional departments and finance teams for audit and compliance matters.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree/CMA/CPA is a plus).
* Professional certification in accounting or auditing - Diploma in IFRS Mandatory
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in audit, general ledger management, and compliance within KSA.
* Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
* Experience working with external auditors and leading end-to-end audit processes.
* Proficient in Saudi tax laws, especially ZAKAT, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
* Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo – However SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Quick Books or similar acceptable.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Arabic.
