Title: Theatre Manager

Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Permanent.

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Manager to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic. The Clinic boasts excellent and progressive care across a range of specialties including Cancer, Cardiac, gynae, head and neck, thoracic, ENT, maxillofacial, general and plastics.
What You’ll Do
* Clinically support the Theatre department to promote and ensure outstanding patient care.
* Lead the department under the direction of the Surgical Services Manager and oversee deployment, supervision and mentoring of theatre staff.
* Drive the operational success of the team, ensuring quality of care, patient safety and an outstanding patient experience.
* Manage theatre lists and workforce, provide strategic and operational direction to build departmental business, plan new services and introduce new technologies.
* Assume budgetary responsibility and ensure adherence to clinical governance and CQC standards.
* Collaborate closely with the Surgical Services Manager to provide clinical leadership and support the hospital management team.
What You’ll Bring
* Qualified practitioner with current registration with the NMC or HCPC.
* Previous leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate and enthuse individuals/teams.
* Proven experience in a leadership role within a perioperative setting.
* Organisational skills and ability to prioritise and delegate workload effectively.
* Ability to set, implement and evaluate standards of evidence‑based practice.
* Experience in clinical governance within the perioperative setting.
* Change management skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
