What you’ll be doing As an Airport Lounge Hospitality Supervisor at Leeds Bradford Airport, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience within a fast-paced lounge environment, welcoming and assisting hundreds of passengers daily, including weekends and peak travel periods. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising the day-to-day operation of the airport lounges to ensure outstanding guest service at all times Working flexibly across operational hours between 3:00am and 8:30pm during summer months, and 3:00am to 5:00pm during winter months Responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly, professionally, and courteously Maintaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organisation across all front-of-house areas and equipment Demonstrating excellent knowledge of lounge menus, beverages, and wine offerings to support the guest experience Liaising closely with the kitchen team and conducting team briefings to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations Acting as the first point of contact for all hospitality-related matters within the lounge Ensuring compliance with COSHH, food safety, and health & safety regulations, while completing all mandatory training requirements Supporting the Contract Manager with hospitality bookings, stock control, and monthly administrative/bookwork processes Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7, including weekends and early morning shifts. Job Ref: 6548 What you can bring Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a hospitality, catering, or food service environment Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering excellent front-line hospitality Ability to work independently, use initiative, and remain organised in a busy environment Previous supervisory experience within catering or hospitality is desirable A professional, positive, and team-focused approach to work Due to security checks required for this role, all candidates will be subject to a basic criminal record check and must be able to provide a continuous five-year checkable work history with verified gaps in employment.
