Overview
You will work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and communities, primarily in the UK water market. MMB provides the feasibility, design, construction, and commissioning services needed to keep water flowing and wastewater treated. You will play a pivotal role in delivering BIM and digital outputs throughout the lifecycle of projects, from concept design to commissioning.
Responsibilities
* Deliver CAD/BIM design data and undertake quality control processes.
* Use 3D modelling to support design collaboration, clash resolution, asset data capture, digital rehearsal and cost capture.
* Support the development of the common data environment platform and processes (Autodesk CC/BIM 360).
* Create and develop a standardised BIM element library to support model reuse and a production approach, including affordable and low‑carbon solutions.
* Take responsibility for cyber‑security aspects associated with CAD/BIM data and access.
* Validate CAD/BIM models from suppliers and integrate them into our models.
* Work with designers to manage competing tensions of time, cost and quality.
* Manage safety, wellbeing, environment and sustainability within BIM/CAD output.
* Support the project teams’ understanding of BIM and provide technical and professional guidance to assist less experienced BIM technicians.
Qualifications
* Recognised qualification in Computer‑aided Design (CAD), BIM or a related field.
* Proficiency in one or more Autodesk authoring packages (Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD).
* Experience with water, wastewater, non‑infrastructure or infrastructure projects.
* Experience authoring 3D models in a common data environment platform (Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360).
* Understanding of working in a common data environment platform and managing BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.
* Knowledge of key information management principles as set out in ISO 19650.
* Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
* Methodical approach to problem solving.
* Proactive, pragmatic and results‑orientated with strong time‑management skills.
