Role: Sales Ledger & Billing Officer
Location: Head Office - Bromsgrove
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent - 35 hours per week
Salary: Total reward between £25K and £27K per annum, depending on experience

Your Role
We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Sales Ledger and Billing Officer to become a vital part of our finance team at our Bromsgrove Head Office. In this role, you will:
Key Responsibilities
* Raise sales invoices in accordance with customer invoicing terms and pre-agreed billing setups.
* Issue free-text invoices for one-off rechargeable costs.
* Proactively chase local authority accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve queries professionally.
* Accurately allocate incoming payments across the ledger.
* Manage queries with regions and customers, collaborating closely with Polaris regions/homes.
* Work towards reducing current debtor days on the ledger to meet agreed targets.
* Maintain organized communication records and ensure all services are invoiced accurately.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience:
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network at all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* A proven ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
* Experience in a similar sales ledger or credit control role, particularly with local authority payments.
* Familiarity with integrated finance systems.
